Abstract

This paper analyzes clothes that wore youth in a disco and adults in a dance hall few years ago in two ways. The first one shows the system of clothes as social symbolic structures in wich young and adult people put in wearing them. The second one underline the imaginarian and subversive use that men gave to their relation with womens. There are imaginarian and subversive uses because the youthful looks of women enables that men manage to contravene the incest taboo. But there are more kind of imaginarian and subversives uses because it is posible that boys, girls, and womens can do the same as men. So the oficial relations between son, girl, mather and father, that family has found, needs secrets and lies, like the system of looks, in order to contravening the incest taboo.
