Metacrítica de la Teoría Crítica
Abstract
Frankfurt School and Critical Theory, are today usually undistinguished and conventionally used as synonimus. However, recent historical and sociological research have showed up the mythical building inside that approach. The trend of this essay is to show the historical building of such a myth, through a «sociogenesis» of the main categories were Critical Theory is founded, specially the category of «critique». Begining with this socio-historical review, I try to found the assessment about a parochial character of this school of philosophical and social thought ( The Frankfurt School) and the negative consequences has been derived over its own self-understanding, causing a dismiss from its particular constitutive context and a dissociation between philosophy and socio-empirical research.
