Abstract

This article analyzes the formulation of a State sociology in Bourdieu’s genetic structure. With and against the thought of Marx, Weber and Durkheim, bourdieusian theory built a conceptual architecture that allows us to understand the acts and effects of the State in the production / reproduction of social order (Amar, 2018). In this framework, we reflect on the conception of the State linked to the symbolic power and the theory of the fields. For this tour, we usted some works by the author and several intestigations thtat have a focus on this conception of State, domination and symbolic power.
