Abstract

The aim of this paper is to identify the possible analytical provisions between two authors whose theoretical proposals might seem very distant: Michel Foucault and Niklas Luhmann. We analyze not only how the dispositif/difference that generates power relations operates, but also how it operates on its discourse manifestation, on its difference as a communication mean or in the construc-tion of meaning as a discursive regime by asking specifically: what does the power communi-cate/operate?
