Use and knowledge of local public services by immigrants. The importance of the district of residence
Abstract
This article analyzes usage patterns and knowledge of municipal services by the immigrant population residing in the city of Seville. This analysis is done taking into account the context where immigrants reside, ie, neighborhood of residence, and its position of integration, focused on three specific dimen-sions: economic, social and civic life. The results show that, indeed, the district of residence can set their own urban subcultures, in this case, applied to forms of use and knowledge of municipal services. Similarly, different dimensions of integration situation could contribute to the way they use and know the services analyzed.Downloads
