Abstract
Prensas de la Universidad de Zaragoza has published the first manual on Japanese woodblock printmaking in Spanish, written by the artist and instructor Fabiola Gil Alares. This book is divided into several parts, starting with a historical introduction to Japanese prints by professor David Almazán, followed by several sections describing the processes, from the preparation of the design, wood carving and printing, introducing new tips and resources that have never been described before. The book is complemented with illustrations by the author, which help to understand the explanations, and complementary audiovisual materials.
