Peña Méndez, Miguel. Orientalismo made in U.S.A. Pensamiento, pintura y modernidad. Logroño: UNIR Editorial, 2021, 602 pp. ISBN: 978-84-18367-80-9
Abstract
Just a few monographs have been devoted to the coexistence of East Asian thought and art and how it came about in Europe and the United States of America. Orientalism made in U.S.A. by Miguel Peña attempts to meet this need by offering a comprehensive overview of what this reality was like in the United States over almost 200 years.
This book offers full of detailed information, but with a large dose of reflection too that the author introduces us in a pleasant and suggestive way
