Abstract

Cuéntame, the Tv movie show of TVE has completed its tenth season. During these years, it has placed one of the mostwatched Tv movies on television in Spain. We wonder where is the success of this format that mixes fiction with the historical reality, even using archive footage from various events, personalities that have played important roles in the recent history of our country. Besides this, the main theme of each chapter, is intended to reflect on some of the problems existing in the society of the 70’s that is set in the Tv movie, but with clear references to the country’s current situation in the XXI century.
