Horizonte lógico-semiótico en las aportaciones de la teoría de la mediación a una descripción del Lenguaje televisual
Abstract
This text is interested in presenting the contributions of Martín Serrano's work on mediation. They are put in relation with those of other authors in the production of a description of the tele-visual Language. In the opinion of this initiative, since the publication of La mediación social, the cultural transmission by the mass media, especially television, has transformed its own characteristics to continue performing its tasks and profile in a monopolistic society. Our work takes advantage of the approach of the social mediation, with regards to the proposal of Anglo-Saxon semiotics and cognitive linguistics, whose presence in the last three decades has been increasing in the study of the languages involved in mass communication. In any case, Martín Serrano's text and his later work involve a point of view from which we can glimpse the explanation about the routines, resources and biological, psychological, cultural and social possibilities in the perception and retention of the meanings of the audio-visual languages.Downloads
