Sick and perverse montages: information in Bolsonaro’s government during pandemic of coronavirus new
Abstract
The article proposes to discuss how the attempted deployment the new methodology on the numbers of new coronavirus pandemic was associated with the practice of perverse montage. The montages, according to Psychoanalysis, recreate reality in order to avoid the anguish of castration. Within social practices, perversion refutes the imperative of laws in order to remain in enjoyment. Thus, the new count suggested by the government, in addition to being perverse, compromises the understanding of politics and public space developed by Hannah Arendt and fosters disease.
