Permanent campaign of Dilma Rousseff: an analysis of government communication and election strategies
Abstract
This paper presupposes that the electoral communication is not limited to election periods, since there is an ongoing strategic use of media to build the image of political leaders and parties. This is the concept of permanent campaign, which is a confluence of government communication and electoral campaigns. The article develops an analysis of the permanent campaign of the first term of Dilma Rousseff (PT), taking her 20 pronouncements broadcasted in the Cadeia Nacional de Rádio e Televisão (CNRT) and in the programs of Horário Gratuito de Propaganda Eleitoral (HGPE).Downloads
