El trono (de Dios), en el mudéjar-morisco de Ocaña
Abstract
The following essay analyses the terms in reference to the Throne of God, fiar¸s and kursı, in their coranic application and compares them as they occur in the context of a mudejar-morisco found in Ocaña (Toledo, Spain) in 1969, to give proof of the importance of those terms in the configuration of the divine presence in muslim thought. The manuscript, whose edition, translation and study culminated in a doctoral thesis Religious Muslim Histories in the Mudejar-Morisco Manuscript of Ocaña. Edition and Study, is the perfect paradigm about how the muslim inhabitants of the Iberian peninsula experienced their religious feeling and living, when their existence and pervival in the cultural, social, political and economic aspects were seriously attacked in the 15th centuryDownloads
