La mujer en las estructuras religiosas de Hispania septentrional. Consideraciones en base a la epigrafía votiva hispanorromana del territorio Castellano-Leonés
Abstract
A researching through the votive epigraphical sources shows a peculiar mixture of roman and native elements in the religiousness of the spanish-roman women in the territory of Castilla-León, as it is also characteristic of the onomastic and social structures in the northern half of Roman Spain. These women express their believes through familiar local religious patterns, usually in a private and domestic cult, frecuently joined to a rural background, which evidences a preference for the gods with a healing and protective power. On the other hand, these women show an important degree of latinization and romanization in their name patterns, but still far from being absolute, and a middle or modest socioeconomical level, except for just a very few cases.Downloads
