Abstract

The present study focuses in Balder, one of the most important figures to understand the germanic mythology. In our article we review briefly the diverse sources about this divinity: literary, toponimic and archaeological; after that we try lo outline an interpretation of the paper of the god which die in the corpus of this mythology.
