Abstract

This paper both presents and analyses a bilingual Graeco-Roman inscription, dated from the the Roman period. The inscription is in turn recorded and discussed in an unpublished manuscript from the Biblioteca Nacional de España (National Library of Spain) (signature Ms. 11364). The author of the mss., to wit, Rafael de Floranes, studies the inscription, whose actual location in Spain –more specifically, in Valladolid– had not been recorded heretofore, despite its relatively famous tradition.
