"Ius Latii" and "leges municipii" in the Age of the Flavians
Abstract
The essay deals with the still open questions about ius Latii, especially with regard to his application in the hispanic municipia of the Flavian age. It handles with the interpretative doubts which arise from Plin. HN 3.3.30; with the questions implied by the reconstruction of the ius Latii as ‘Personenrecht’ or ‘Gemeinderecht’; with the problems which attain to the begininning of municipia with ius Latii in the Augustan age and to the ‘turning point’ in the age of Vespasian.Downloads
