Abstract
This article tries to contribute to new information on the importance of the teacher Maria Sanchez Arbós (high ability woman more advanced for the time she lived) in the introduction of new own pedagogical methods of the Free Institution of Education, to which she was tie during long time. Its presence in the Primary School in several periods of the history of Spain, in spite of its purification, favored the development of the educative principles of the Institution such as: respect to the conscience of the student, laicism, tolerance and application of the active method, in the schools limited the political indoctrination of the pro-Franco regime.Downloads
