La imagen y el fantasma
Abstract
In the technological, the global communication, and the media era, a deconstruction of the concept of the image, of its archive and its heritage, might be the way to demystify that which puts tele-technology in relation with truth and the conjuring of phantoms. In contrast, Derrida’s deconstruction understands television, widely understood, as greatly increasing the power of phantoms, the return of this power. This deconstruction of actuality will have necessarily to proceed by way of questioning the classical border between the real and the virtual, by way of the concept of temporality and of presence, as well as by way of Marx’s thinking on ideology and by Heidegger’s on tekhné.Downloads
