Cemetery Letters. Images of Body Corpse
Abstract
This article uses the tombstones typographies and typefaces as aesthetic indicators. We propose the analysis of these visual artifacts as a contribution to the visual culture studies. I argue the suitability of such texts designed as a graphic resource. We can use these fonts for theoretical reflection, but we must also assess its use as a valid argument for art education. I approached this work from the methodology called arts-based research. I use mostly the images as a source of information and study, presenting a photo essay in the form of visual essay. The photos accompanying the text are by the same author.Downloads
