Abstract
This article studies the ranching activity developed by the Order of Calatrava in the Middle Ages. It analyzes the cattle of Calatrava and the exploitation of pastures. Finally, we assess the significance of cattle ranching for the Order of Calatrava. The research is based principally on archival sources.Downloads
