The paper focuses on the presence in the Compendio Historial (Historical Compendium) by Diego Rodríguez de Almela of individuals representing each of the three functions described by Dumézil in ancient IndoEuropean societies. A description and analysis of the Indo-European myth about "divine twins" begotten by different fathers, one mortal and one divine, featured in Rodríguez de Almela's Compendio Historial follows.Downloads
