Abstract

Monetary projects of Philip III and Joanna II related to the charge of the monedaje in 1329 and the exercise of the royal prerogative of minting. The falsification of coins and scarcity of money from roughly 1338 to 1343. Efforts of the Florentine master of mining. Paulo Girardi, to exploit the silver gold mines of Urrobi and Girardi's exceptionally-important report about the coining of money and monetary policy.
