The interest of Spanish regional television stations in transparency is increasing, although with reluctance
Abstract
Transparency as an element of good governance represents a key element in the stability and credibility of both private companies and public institutions and bodies. The audiovisual sector is not exempt from this requirement and ensuring transparency as a legal principle that must be complied with in a plural and democratic society is everyone's task. Research such as the one we are now presenting, the Theoretical and Practical Study on Transparency in the Audiovisual Sector, is of special interest at a time like the one we are currently experiencing. Year after year, this research provides an X-ray of the panorama of our media and the degree of compliance that these agents maintain in terms of transparency. Year after year, the purpose is to know the state of the public and private sectors, by measuring the evolution and progress that is taking place in this field.
