Abstract

This article presents the case in which the Principal of the Interamerican University for Development, Morelia, Mexico, saw her rights to privacy, honor and own-image attacked. Through the replacement of her personal Facebook profile by a fake one on the institutional website of the university that she leads. This case shows how people can use the Internet for purposes that attack the rights of others, beyond the limits that necessarily exist for the proper exercise of freedom of expression.
