a comment on the book “regulations and control over audiovisual contents in spain”,
Abstract
Here is a book where the authors reflect on the freedom of expression and the trite expression “public powers” as if those powers were the manna that damages the inherent right of the human beings: freedom as something salvific. Could one be a person without it? The regulation of the audiovisual sector in the 21st Century is not so easy; globalization has not brought what was originally expected as a godsend; sometimes, the obstacles and the blind walls are able to destroy transparency, a capital value for our society. However, we must admit it: in democratic societies, controlling it all is difficult, albeit attempted. Neither is the path drawn up by social networks a place where all is acceptable.
