Abstract

Transparency regulations have strengthened the citizen's right to know and, in particular, the right of access. This is not an absolute right, but there may be certain limits that restrict or limit access to public information. One of the notable limits is the related to the protection of personal data, which in many cases requires a balance between this right and the right of access to public information.
