Abstract

Digital change of news libraries and the lack of a well-defined business model as well as the massive usage of internet search engines demand a reinvention of both the digital media searching pattern and the skills of the news librarian as well. They are key agents to regain audience's confidence and loyalty through the news library's performance. This paper reviews a number of Spanish digital media news libraries' searching systems.
