Abstract

This article aims to analyze the contents of the documents located on the installation unit P.V. 51-P.V. 277 Collection of Miscellaneous Papers Archive of the University of Salamanca. This collection is of enormous importance because of its interesting new material, and we understand that deserves to be viewed for historical studies of the XVI-XVIII. After extensive analysis we concluded that the documentation is essential to study the internal affairs of the Jesuits and Dominicans, and for multiple subjects relevant to the University of Salamanca. They are also a real quarry for historical research the following topics: sermons and funeral orations and laudatory, Historiography of the Secession of Portugal, political and religious satire, the party at the Ancient Regime and the city of Salamanca and its environment.
