Consideraciones referentes a la lógica mercantilista en las bibliotecas públicas: Un alegato contra el AGCS y sus implicaciones
Abstract
The current neoliberal society takes with it a gradual attempt for commercializing with the free services given in the public libraries. A conceptual and historical study of the social function of these cultural and educational institutions, it leads us to concluding that the logic mercantilist cannot have content in the libraries, since there would meet affected the transmission of the information and the knowledge, the scientific - intellectual advance and the creation in the citizen of an opinion and an own criterion, beside violating several rights of the man.Downloads
