Abstract

A description of the importance that has the determination of the information needs and the informative behavior by the information centers or the specialized libraries appears that take care of a community of users conformed by investigators in institutions of superior education. It exposes some techniques that allow to determine the needs and the informative behavior. Also it exposes some of the results of an investigation made in the Independent National University of Mexico with the investigators and presents/displays in annexed a behavior of the investigators of the areas of humanities, social sciences and obtained scientist of diverse investigations made in countries mainly developed, as well as it presents/displays a bibliography recommended on this topic.
