Transmedia interactivity in the TV fiction. Analysis of the pilot chapter of 'Si fueras tú' (RTVE)
Abstract
This article aims to provide an analytical view of interactivity as a strategy for the promotion of Spanish TV fiction, taking as a sample the series Si fueras tú (RTVE, 2017), considered the first spanish interactive fiction. For that, it applies a mixed methodology that combines the bibliographic review with an analysis of the platforms destined to the promotion of the interactivity and its models of application. The results show the contribution of social networks as channels of bidirectional communication and demonstrate the interactive and loyalty capacity of a transmedia strategy in the promotion of fictional content.
