Dalí, what are you doing there? Dalí’s character at NO-DO (1948-1980)
Abstract
In the studies devoted to Salvador Dalí there has been a gap when it comes to the subject of the –one might call symbiotic- relationship that he established with the NO-DO (Spanish post-civil war newsreel) from 1948 to 1980. By analyzing those issues of the NO-DO in which Dalí took part as a newstory, it is possible to find new traits of his personality and art that explain his everlasting presence in the Spanish people’s thoughts
