Abstract

The following article seeks to deepen the importance of language in Social Work. Often, the lack of words, or the chaos that they contain, creates an impaired reality of our identity as social workers and of our professional practice. As such, the lines that follow create a space which allows for personal reflection on the need for writing in social work, the need to reconcile ourselves, to rebuild a theory that is tied to practice, and the need for us to take responsibility for our words and actions.
