El aprendizaje cooperativo
Abstract
Much has been written and yet much is still to be written on cooperative learning (CL). This article, rather than explaining what CL is, tries to provide a set of elements that, by the light of experience rather than of the abundant existing literature. These elements can provide a practical approach to applying this learning strategy. Working with small teams of students contributes to unquestionable advantages to teaching using this technique. This active learning technique allows the student not only to have the opportunity to reach significant learning levels but it also values his/her ability to express both orally and in written form, to structure and defend his/her ideas, to clarify them, etc. After years working with CL evidence of its virtues can be provided as well as indicating its difficulties and the circumstances involved. Light can be shed on the educational aspects of much interest for educators and for those curious on CL or those wishing to incorporate it to their teaching.Downloads
