Abstract
This review attempts to reflect the work on the reference pedagogical tool for learning the case method. The book in question is based on the knowledge acquired by university students in the field of social sciences. Starting from an applied perspective, the authors of each of the six chapters that make up the book manage to condense, in just 150 pages, a theoretical-practical body in which, on the one hand, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the social case method are presented and, on the other, The book also includes practical case studies that facilitate the teacher's work in applying this learning methodology in the classroom, which focuses on encouraging the active participation of students, the acquisition of skills such as problem-solving, teamwork and decision-making, all of which are essential in the training process of professionals in the social field.
