Abstract
The capital punishment by garrote is here studied, from its establishment by José Bonaparte in 1809, like the ordinary and unique way to apply the penalty, replacing the hanging, to its abolition by Fernando VII, that happened through the establishment of the garrote in national Spain by the Cadix Cortes, influenced by the Bonapartist measure.Downloads
