Public instruments linked to the acquisition of the property. Barter, sale and possession docu-ments in the crown of Castile during the 16th century: the case of Málaga
Abstract
The present work pretends to project the diplomatic analysis and the paleographic transcription on certain documentary models linked to the acquisition of the property, such as the letters of barter, sale and possession, in the chronological frame of the first half of the 16th century and in a southern place belonging to the Crown of Castile, the city of Malaga. All this, under the cover of the forms and treaties of notarial literature that were published and consolidated their use and dissemination at the stage and with the aim of making visible the work of diplomatics, which, with its contribution to the knowledge of documents, relies on the technique, on the analysis of the formula, to achieve endowing them with historical content.
