The "Fuero Real" influence in the Lisbon’s "almotaçaria"
Abstract
This paper compares the laws of the Fuero Real with the almotaçaria regulation of Lisbon. The thematic and textual similarity found in these two legal norms allows attesting the Castilian text influence in the Portuguese medieval legal order, more particularly in the local law of the Kingdom’s capital.Downloads
