Abstract

A juridical characterization of the famous Italian Social Republic (the Republic of Salò), created by B. Mussolini in the last years of World War II, from a constitutional perspective. This portrait seeks to explain the normative system that this regime was able to build. It seeks to highlight how power was organized, with the typical distinction between State and Government; what institutions hatched from it and what were its most relevant legal products.
