The testaments of the jurists Narcís de Sant Dionís (1458) and his brother Dalmau (1432)
Abstract
From the testaments of the two jurists Narcís de Sant Dionís (that participated in the Compilation of the Catalan Constitutions of 1413-1422 and wrote a Compendium of that one) and Dalmau de Sant Dionís, this article presents a brief state of the research about the difficulties to identify Narcís de Sant Dionís in one person –until now divided in three different figures. The testament of Dalmau de Sant Dionís is analyzed, where it is revealed that he was the older brother of Narcís de Sant Dionís. The data we have about their family until 1511 are then exposed. Finally, the two testaments are edited.Downloads
