Abstract

Alfonso X el Sabio’s legislative work is part of our culture. Many authors have worked on this subject, following the directions established by Martínez Marina. In this paper we will be studying the work of Professor Alfonso García-Gallo regarding the works of such illustrious sovereign, analyzing the influence that the monarch had in Spanish legislation, focusing on the Speculum and the Partidas and the whole process of collation and interpretation of the various editions established.
