De la imposible conciliación a los permanentes malos arreglos.
Abstract
European Strategies for Employment mark the importance of time. But only they considered working time. Other voices, from a gender perspective, point out different visions around the relationships between time, work and women. Some of them indicate that our social time organization is not fitting for women. Specially, for those women that seem to need conciliation policies. From the same perspective, it is showed how these policies hidden the sexual division of work. Or it is also argued how we have not defined conciliation in an appropriate way. This article tries to underline some of these questions. Afterward, wants to discuss the conclusions of two studies about conciliation developed by QUIT. The first explores the cultural difficulties that conciliation policies must confront in Spain. The second one is oriented to know why there is lacking of conciliation issues in collective bargaining. Time policies are presented as an alternative to these difficulties.Downloads
