La estrategia europea de empleo: aportaciones y contradicciones
Abstract
The building of Europe is going through one of the most dynamic stages in its history amidst a changing international environment full of uncertainties where new avenues of cooperation have been opened. One of the most expressive manifestations could be considered the adoption of full employment for the year 2010 as the way to coordinate different types of economic policies through a process of macroeconomic social dialogue. This article address the role played by action taken towards employment in the Community area to develop a model of integration offering greater levels of social cohesion. The article takes a historical approach to examining both the European Employment Strategy’s strengths and weaknesses and the need to coordinate the ensemble of economic policies, and the limitations for these policies’ development.Downloads
