The minimum integration income in Spain

Keywords: Minimum insertion income, autonomous communities, amount, cohabitation unit, family unit, Minimum Vital Income

Abstract

The primary objective of this work has been to try to analyze the concept of minimum income originated from European institutions and its transposition to the Spanish State. This was initially achieved through the implementation of an autonomous regional minimum income system and, following the effects derived from the COVID-19 pandemic, with the creation of the Minimum Living Income. In this context, the main differences between the various minimum income systems and their level of allegiance to the Europeanist idea are displayed.
