Programa de corrección del impacto arqueológico de la gasificación de Galicia. Un ejemplo de gestión integral del Patrimonio Arqueológico

Abstract

.- The aims of this text are: (1) presenting the works carried on by the Landscape Archaeology Re search Unit of the University of Santiago de Compostela to evaluate and correct the archaeological impact of the Galician Pipelines Net, (2) describing the organization and methodological principles and standards adop ted in this project, and (3) summarizing the main results of these works in terms of sites protection, heritage ma nagement and historical research. This paper tries to offer a practical example of the posibilities to combine the protection of archaeological heritage and Rescue Archaeology developed under a commercial organization with research and the production of innovative archaeological knowledge.
