Abstract

Peoples of pre-roman Iberia used animal figures in the iconographic code to construct allegories about human behavior. Gender perspective allows us closer to how were male and female archetypes, and roles and desirable relationships between members of the elite, througt those images. And allows to address issues on the dominant ideology and religion in the context of a fledgling urban life.
