Fíbulas argénteas con escena figurada de la Península Ibérica.
Abstract
.- Among the Ancient people, the brooches were not exclusively a personal adornment but had others meanings such as social identification or the membership of a group. In the Iberian Peninsula a type of broochs has been found of beautiful facture and common characteristics as the quality of metal used in its wor king generally silver and its representational decoration. Its scenes are likely to be interpreted as hunting or a related topic. This article confirms, technologically as well as typologically, the multiple meanings of these broo ches as these objects identified an equestrian elite and its funerary rites and at the same time conferred an heroic character to their owners.Downloads
