Abstract
This paper starts from Herodotus’ allusions to Rhodopis, the famous Greek hetaira, and studies the character within its historical and literary context, trying to distinguish how much is in fact historic and how much comes from fiction. It concludes that Rhodopis image was built with both: History and Literature.Downloads
