Abstract
In this paper some of the many Ionisms detected in the spoken parts of Attic tragedy are dealt with. They may either coexist side by side with equivalent forms of the ordinary Attic Dialect or appear mixed up with them giving shape to new forms belonging to a new kind of artificial dialect, Attic-Ionic, which was the model of a New Attic that can be considered as a precedent of Koiné-Greek.Downloads
