La práctica forense en el Egipto romano
Abstract
The development of forensic medicine in Roman Egypt is well attested in the documents preserved on papyrus. Public physicians performed forensic examinations of crime or accident victims within a process of police investigations or simply, in order to certify death for different reasons. The various kinds of documents illustrating this practice will be analyzed, as will the people implicated in the process and the reasons behind its existence.Downloads
